Started from my own stock uploading struggles
StockAgent.io was created by me, Kristian Kettner. I’ve worked in the film industry for over a decade but starting a family meant I wanted to spend less time away on shoots.
I had some success with stock sites but it was a huge headache. A day of editing and keywording was required for each batch which I struggled to make time for.
It took a few months but I refined the processes, hiring two skilled assistants to create a streamlined workflow and passive income.
Colleagues then asked me if I could use this setup to process their spare footage and so StockAgent was born. We now handle over 2000 videos per month for 30 cameramen and drone pilots.

Can I use spare footage?
Many of our contributors will upload test footage or spare footage shot on a client’s location. If your contract allows it we will use it.
What should I shoot?
We are able to give advice on what should be worth shooting based on changes in demands we are seeing in the marketplaces.
Is my footage high enough quality?
We typically work with full-time camera operators with experience of big shoots and expect footage of a corresponding quality
Is my footage safe?
All footage is stored in our on-site servers and only used for uploading to stock footage sites in accordance with our simple service contract
How much will I earn?
We cannot give a definite answer to the expected revenue. It depends on the amount and quality of uploaded footage, plus whether it meets a demand
